one word i find ridiculous --> FOREVER
forever is a very very long time so i find it funny when ppl promising forever to their significant other...u dun even know if u gonna woke up next morning, how can u promise forever? dun even use it figuratively, it's not romantic, it's hurtful when u leave
one word i try not to use *much* --> HATE
it's a very strong word i tell u, so most of the time i try to use the word dun like or similar to it. i reserve the word hate for things i really2 can't stand anymore. so when i use it, it means i really really dislike wateva it is dat i'm referring to (read: i can't even stand the slight mention of it) so trust me when i say u dun want me to hate u
one word i realise can mean so much but so little too --> LOVE
when said the first time, sounds magical. i love you, the three not so little word u said to the one u thought u love at the moment or u've been waiting to hear it from him/her.
when said too often, meaningless can be wat it defines
when nvr said, reality can be denied easily
it's a promise, so be a man/woman and honour ur promise
it'll hurt so badly when u don't

little pinky says oink and everybody screams
another old issue here
concerning the 'gift' from PAS to the rakyat upon winning the election
yup, the new 'zoo' of Selangor
some goes even to the extent of accusing PAS as menghalalkan our cute little pinky fren
since when is giving a green light to open an integrated pig farm is considered haram?
plus, from wat i reckon the project was already given a go by the previous state government
if they gonna argue about how the money would be haram then wat about the revenues from alcohol n cigarettes dat is declared as haram by Majlis Fatwa Islam back then?
isn't it also considered haram?
i have no idea why when the slight mention of this pinky creature causes so many ruckus
like for instance when the vet students taking picture with this particular patient
i love wat this ustaz have to say about it

what went wrong, sufiah?
this news on Sufiah Farooq is a bit old i know but a few things come across my mind reading it dat i have to pen it down
almost everyone know the story of this gifted child who made it into Oxford at tender age of 13. it is sad to see how she turn out to be like this today but stories of child prodigy taking the unseemingly path is not a new news in itself. ever heard of Asia Carrera? or closer to home, the boy genius who adopted by Prof Ungku Aziz but now is flipping roti canai for living. i am no genius myself but one thing i can understand is they been put under a lot of pressure by ppl who doesn't even know them to perform well in their life. to use their gift to benefit others. ever wonder about what they want?
if u were to dig deeper into sufiah past, u'll find what seems to me a ridiculous ideology her parents esp her father imposed on her n her siblings. yes, it's good to develop your child potential to its max but with all that rules n confines? no wonder she acted so rebellious as she did. well, all of us who is average being at some point of our life, mostly during our teenage years went thru this rebellion stage. we do as we please. we do things to make our parents feel bad. the worst they feel about our action, the better. maybe what sufiah is going thru here is her own version of rebellion phase. this is not her first time doing something out of expected, she went mia a couple yrs back, abandoning her studies just like dat
sure one can argue of all the ways to make a decent living, why she choose this path? she can use her gift/curse but she decided not to. why? dats the question only sufiah and sufiah alone can answer. and to say she didn't know wat she's doing is wrong, she was brought up with a good Islamic teaching so i really can't fathom her decision but then again, i'm not in her shoes.
what i don't understand here has nothing to do with her. i dun understand why Malaysian government is so eager wanting to help her. wat's with all this Safe Sufiah prog n all? she is not even a Malaysian by birth or by any means. the only link she has is her mother who went to study oversea (is it under scholarship?) n nvr return n probably no longer a citizen of Malaysia. i dun even see the need to give her scholarship in the first place. it's not like she gonna come back to Malaysia n gave back to our nation other than the mere mention of her mother birthplace. not dat i'm saying she doesn't deserve it but there is more than Malaysian gov already can handle in their own backyard. why not focus there first before reaching out for this half Malaysian population who doesn't even set a foot on Malaysia soil until the awarding of scholarship (itu pon sekali tu jer). if it were up to me, i wouldn't even acknowledge her as a Malay. she was not born a Malay n never raised as one, so when ppl labelled her as a Muslim Malay, for me dat is a one big wrong label. if the government said they are doing it because she is a Muslim, then why aren't other Islamic country doing the same? then again, look at our own backyard, is government doing anything to help Malay Muslim girls whose in the same situation as her?

great man, greater woman
it's been a long day
with 2 small grp discussion back to back from 830 for 4 straight hr
i must say welcome to med school
i was as good as open sink without any filter
overfill and overflowing, regurgitate wat not
as i said: welcome to med school
*sighhhhhhhh*
the fact dat the faculty drag our Friday till 530 didn't help either
thank God for the free massage n aromatherapy demo
well, med school do have it perks once in a while
and for the first time here in Canada
i went to wat can be describe the closest u can get of nite life in KL
we went to watch MIDNITE movie!
well sort of

the movie highlighted not the celebrated mistress Anne but her sister, the ever wallflower Mary Boleyn
both actresses portray the sibling rivalry excellently
i haven't read the book but at the end of the movie, i sumhow felt that the movie just don't do the book it's deserving justice
if u know the story of King Henry VIII u'll know of his most beloved mistress who brought a big change in England's history, forever change the face of England n gave him not the son he desired but a daughter who proves to be one of the great Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth
it's amazing to see how King Henry's obsession with procuring a male heir and scratched ego of being rejected by Anne drove him to defy the church and divorce his Queen n how the highly ambitious Anne would do anything to get wat she deemed as her due n what great motivation power n title n wealth can be
we have seen it again n again throughout the history how a great man brought down by a woman or great wars being fought over woman
who ever coined the phrase 'the hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world' can never be wrong
it's not us woman the evil force here
it's not the man either who is weak when it comes to woman
it just the nature of man n woman
but we always can learn from the mistakes done

why am i not suprised?
all are aware n well-versed in wat happened yesterday in my beloved homeland
*pardon the time difference here, i'm still living my sunday when u folks in Malaysia alreadi hit by monday blues :p*
BIG BIG upsets
Kelantan was no suprise
i mean come on, Dr M for 20 yrs tried n fail, how would Pak Lah be any different?
clearly the Islam Hadhari thing is not working, Kelantanese knows better i must say
Penang was no suprise either some says
if ppl r tired of the old fellow, it beginning to sounds like Trg back in '99 GE
and Opposition finally got their Kedah
Selangor and Perak? i'm sure they didn't see dat one coming
no 2/3 majority this time
more bickering in Parliament perhaps?
that should be interesting
but dat beloved son-in-law wins and mark Bulat's word
he's gonna be a Menteri soon
*rosak rosak*
CONGRATULATIONS MALAYSIANS
for you all have make ur voice heard!
~i dun vote so i shouldn't be talking much but i am so damn proud of my fellow Malaysian today~
dat should be one LOUD wake up call for the gov
and for the Opposition
this is not the time to boast on ur winnings
it's the start of a hard n true work for the ppl
or the history of 2004 GE repeats itself again
i called my dad n we were on this topic n he commented on Dr. M asking Pak Lah to be responsible on the fat lost by stepping down and i say "whose the successor then?his deputy kah?hancusssss....."
*matila kena tangkap msk ISA la pasni*
let me be clear that i am not supporting any sides here
i like the pre GE gov
they have done well in administering Malaysia
they even pay for my studies here
but it is good to have more opposing voices so dat they r being kept in check
i like the idea of them mentadbir but without 2/3 majority
this is hopefully be a good change
we'll see
on the side notes

couldn't care less
if sumone ask me wat's going on in my homeland other than the upcoming election
i would be "er...er...er...dunno?"
i've stopped updating myself with wats happening in that homeland of mine
you see normally i read up The Star, NST n Berita Harian online every single day so dat i wouldn't be 'katak bawah tempurung' so to speak but since Pak Lah announce the dissolvement of Parliament and the ensuing GE, i just stop reading the papers
there's nothing to read except all the kempen-ing n bitching n ngutuk-ngutuk-ing between all the parties n oh yeah, how can i forget the sweet-sweet promises strewn all over n how 'my party is better than ur party' statement
*eyes rolling*
n how even the simplest of things all get twisted into the politics
uh, puh-leazeeeee
well, not being a big fan of politics i am coz i always thought dat politics is dirty but sometime back a friend point out that the politics itself is NOT dirty
it's the way the people plays it dat is dirty
kinda hard to see it dat way when the only politics u know is the dirty one
wat do u think?

weekend movie marathon
i watched six movies in total this weekend alone!
so much for starting hitting the books for CV/RESPI finals which is in 3 weeks
*panic attacks*
oh well, all work n no play makes Dalilah a very dull girl eh?
first movie was

typical Tarzan storyline. very explicit on displaying how barbaric so called superior race genociding the Natives so they can claim the land their own *sick*
then moved on to

a VERY good movie
very light approach to a very heavy topic
highly recommended =)
last movie for the nite was

all the usual Jackie Chan amazing stunts n hilarities. i actually dozed off halfway thru this one
*it was already 4 or 5 in da morning*
but definitely the movie for a weekend laugh
the next day, only managed to watch this

nice light romantic comedy on my fav subject: FOOD!
and gourmet food at dat?
*definitely drooolsss*
today, another romantic comedy to restore my faith dat there is happy ending after all in this world

highly recommended to those who are thinking of taking the next BIG step in their relationship or are planning their BIG day just to give you a vague idea of wat's coming n killed off the stress of planning etc
last movie for the weekend was this number

those moves~ those rhythm~ those hot bodies~
*big big movigasm!*
oh well, i always envy those who can dance for i am rhythmless n keras macam kayu :p

in da far far away land
so i heard dat the Parliment is dissolved n General Election should ensue within 60 days
i guess by now all the bridges n trees n lamp posts fall victim to bulan n dacing n roket n wat else flags n all those kutuk mengutuk banner erected on every surface available
well, i can't say much since as eligible as i am
the one responsibility dat come with turning 21 few years back slipped rite thru my mind
but i am sure there's sumone or two who mysteriously cast a vote on my behalf
politic just not my thang i must say
few things i fondly remember from GE growing up is how much kertas conteng me n my frens got from the small flags n banners
not forgetting the stunt my mum pulls every GE
she says she won't go back to vote but by 10 am we were all kerah-ed to get ready to balik kampung
*head shaking*
well, grandma couldn't afford to lose another vote for her party, couldn't she?
but i like the day trip balik kampung on GE, dunno why :)
ouh, when i was small, in my dad's village got another party called Semangat 46 which was dissolved sumtime when i was in secondary school, i kinda like their flag
i remember how my uncle would marah-marah my cousins for bringing home the opponent's flag
i clearly recall his words
"ni ape dacing2 nih, bulan jer boleh naik umah ni!"
well, this coming March 8 i shall miss my 1st election
to others, pangkah la mane yang patut

superwoman
my gurlfren was complaining 'bout how
her bf won't think about getting engaged yet
as he wants to concentrated in completing his study first
plus the fact he simply can't do 2 things at one time
duh!
i think
life is too short to be doing one thing at a time
dear dear
ever heard of multitasking not?
if u r doing medicine n want to finish up
before doing sumthing else like married n have kids
u probably be greeted with tis
when u send your first child to his/her 1st day of school
"anta cucu ker?"

age old battle
For all those men who say
Why buy a cow when you can get milk for FREE?
I say
It’s not worth buying an entire pig just to get a LITTLE sausage

get a room ppl~
friendster's bulletin board fall victims to personal post of da late
ppl ranting n venting their personal 'tak pueh ati' feeling all over da board
i have nothing against it, honestly
i know the gratification u get when u let all dat boiling emotion inside free
trust me, i know
hence the existence of tis crappy blog
but its better dat u go get urself a blog n rant all u want in it, on frequent basis
heck, on daily basis if u like it
it's ur blog n u can do wat ever u want wit it
well, dats wat i do anyway
no need to splash it on such public board n hope to bask in all cheap publicity
better yet, if u have an issue with sumone, y dun approach the person in da first place?
kan more matured tu dr duk post buletin bertanye ape slhku....
or telling wat u like n wat makes u menyampah
bla n bla n bla
mayb u think its just tis one time u need to vent
or ur not dat rajin to updet ur blog regularly
or nobody reads it anyway
who cares?
n guess wat?
it won't be the only time u feel da need to vent
there'll always stuffs to write 'bout
n u'll be addicted to it
n blog for the sake of having an outlet
n to express urself
not so dat ppl read it or comment on it
dats the bonus point if u get any
i rest my case

enchanting enchanted
i've been dreaming of true love kiss
lalalalalalala
if u were born in da 80's n u r a girl

our lil rituals
me n pu3 have tis lil ritual back in the days of IMU
it involves pretty make ups n nice outfits n gorgeous shoes
and we do it everytime it's exam time or da day the results is out
nope, it's not retail therapy
it is simply dressing up n beautify self session
for me it started da nite before
with long shower n deep cleansing n self manicure
-yeah yeah i know i should be cramming last mins-
after days of nothing but studying n ignoring else
it really help soothes n relaxes da body n mind
makes me better prepared for wat's coming
n in da morning extra effort on da make up n careful choosing of da outfit
why we like ur lil ritual?
it gives dat extra boost of confidence
i always believe dat when u feel good about urself
u just waltz thru ur day with ease
like pu3 said ni qoute
"if u want to do it, do it with style, even if u fail ur exam"

of sunshine n blooms
imagine getting a 2 weeks holiday for semester break
and about a months or so after each major exam
a six long months break seems so heavenly isn't it?
a six long months break seems so heavenly isn't it?
six sweet long months of nothing to do
no books, no exams, no tests, no classes, nothing
trust me, if u r in my shoes u know wat relief it is
yup, a six months break definitely heaven...or so i thought
u know u got too long of a holiday when
1. ur stationeries start mysteriously dissappearing one by one, nvr to b found again
2. u got da script of the movie/series u reruns on astro/laptop on da tip of ur tongue
3. skincare products n makeups supply exactly as it is for da last few months
4. u start talking to ur chicken n u think it understand n talks back
5. u wake up on monday and fells like it's sunday n u bored of everyday is sunday day
6. no other name but urs appear in da hall of fame of whateva games u play on pc, ps2 etc
7. u start missing da crappy life u had before
in my case-->imu sucking life n jpa's monthly allowance
8. da words of class, lecture, assignment, test, exam etc seems so foreign of an idea
9. ur blog full of nonsense posts like mine
10. become a powerful blank slate u have
ahh..the perils of long holidays
well, mine seems to be over
thank god?
